Yes, the bag can be mounted horizontally or vertically. There are grommets on all 4 corners. You can use S hooks to attach it to the ceiling or the Optional Bag Stand. We recommend buying the Bag Stand, but if you have provision to hang it either on the ceiling or other options, you can do so as well.
