Boil 2 quarts of water in a large pot and remove it from the stove. Add a few drops of food-grade hydrogen peroxide into the pot and soak the supply hoses and/or nasal cannula until the water cools. Repeat this with fresh water 2 to 3 times until the odor is no longer troublesome.
